Evidence that librarians across the country also enthusiastically embraced this genre display option is seen in an October 1993 exchange from the Publib electronic discussion list, in which one librarian stated that her library “enjoyed the genre dumps we 26 PPYA Origin, History, and Committee Processes purchased from ALA Graphics (developed by YALSA)” and asked for ideas on where she might purchase a new book dump because ALA had, by that time, discontinued selling the units (Caywood 1993).
