Referred to as the workhorse of undefined, the appearance of energy electronics and advances in electronic keep an eye on are remodeling the induction motor into the racehorse of business movement keep an eye on. Now, the vintage texts on induction machines are approximately 3 a long time outdated, whereas more moderen books on electrical cars lack the mandatory intensity and element on induction machines.

The imparted damage is also studied by using FEM simulations. Introduction SPD processes have the aim of attaining materials with mechanical properties greatly improved with respect to the starting materials. This is achieved by means of the reduction in the grain size up to micrometric or even nanometric values [1]. The increase in the improvement on the mechanical properties of the materials processed by SPD processes depend on the starting material, the number of passages and the thermal treatments carried out [2].

Table 1 shows the previously-mentioned factors with their corresponding low and high levels. Table 1. 5 hours. The time that passes between the quenching and the ECAE process should be as small as possible since if not, a natural aging of the material takes place, which would involve a change in the material law and therefore, in the processing force. In Fig. 1 the closure system of the dies (upper and lower) and their set-up in line with the extrusion punch can be observed. The extrusion velocity that was utilized is 50 mm/min.

3(a) shows the typical curve for an experimental test in which the value for the extrusion force is represented in function of the distance covered by the punch. Furthermore, Fig. 3(b) shows the same curve but obtained in the case of the FEM simulation. Both graphs are those corresponding to the central point of the design of experiments. As can be observed in Fig. 3, the similarity between both graphs is very high, not only for the values but also for the shape of the curve.
