D. in Computer Engineering in 1987 from Politecnico di Milano and was a visiting fellow at University of Maryland, Technical University of Vienna, and University of Stuttgart. Her interests are in the field of information systems, data security, information retrieval, and software reuse.

She participates in project teams on system security, distributed information systems, and e-government for Public Administrations. Mario Mezzanzanica is a private consultant in the ICT field and has conducted various projects for private and public organizations in the area of systems re-engineering, distributed information systems design and security. He is an Assistant Professor at University of Milano, Faculty of Statistics, where he teaches Information Systems and Datawarehouse courses. He is responsible for teaching and administrative re-organization projects for University of Milano.

Her interests are in the field of information systems, data security, information retrieval, and software reuse. She is author of several publications on information systems and system security, and is co-author of the book Database Security, Addison Wesley, 1995. She participates in project teams on system security, distributed information systems, and e-government for Public Administrations. Mario Mezzanzanica is a private consultant in the ICT field and has conducted various projects for private and public organizations in the area of systems re-engineering, distributed information systems design and security.
