Clearly fifteen coins representing twelve years are so few to fill this period that nothing can here be argued from silence. The situation is similar with the Dipylon Hoard, for while that consists of fifty-eight coins, representing thirty-one issues, it begins with the series with two monograms, and seven of its thirty-one issues come before the earliest appearanceof three magistrates.
