SIX AFTER A DEFENCE HAS BEEN ENTERED 51 Proposed directions Following the allocation of the case to one of the tracks the court will issue directions, and this is covered in the next chapter. There is an opportunity to request a particular location and reasons should be given. The convenience of witnesses is an example of a possible reason that could be given.
